Little Al's Ice Cream Trike

'Little Al's'

1920's Traditional Ice Cream Trike

"Serving delicious and premium quality New Forest real dairy ice cream and sorbets, our refurbished Pashley 33 ice cream trike is the star of the show here at our newly launched business Old Crocks Vintage Hire

Once upon a time it worked up and down Bournemouth seafront, but we rescued it from a dusty garage where it had been languishing for many years. Now restored to its former glory, this traditional ice cream trike will give that something extra to your wedding or event. We offer a unique hire service, with a large choice of ice cream and sorbet flavours available, as well as dessert options. This is served by traditionally dressed staff (striped blazer and straw boater) to complete the vintage feel.

We aim to help make your wedding one to remember and can personalise the ice cream trike with ribbons, bunting and lighting. You can choose 4 flavours of ice cream to treat your guests and may want to wow them with champagne sorbets served in vintage glassware or tempt them with tira misu. We can also provide lollies for the kids or those who can't eat dairy."

To celebrate our launch we will be offering free champagne sorbet tasting at
The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair
and a 5% discount for any bookings made on the day.

The Silver Rocketeer

Please excuse us if we give a squeal of excitement about The Silver Rocketeer joining us at The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair on October 16th!

"Feeling blue?
Big day looming?
Still no ideas?
Thinking of calling the whole thing off?
Is your head spinning with images of plastic plates, plastic forks,
a plastic tent
and a bar service modelled on British Rail?
Got the disco?
The balloons?
The streamers?
Is that it?"

"Here at THE SILVER ROCKETEER,
we take liberty in believing we know what you think is missing.

Because we are dreamers too.

You want colour, elegance, romance.
You want class.

The day will be shared with family and friends.
You want them smiling, relaxed and perhaps a little amazed."

"The Silver Rocketeer gives you
"The AMY LEE"

Art Deco Cocktail Lounge."

"We tailor to guest numbers and the weather, employing furniture, awnings and marquees integral to this vehicle, along with a vast range of tunes from our discreet yet very capable music systems."

"Centre your event and bedazzle your guests with this timelessly cool and iconic design that spirits the team that runs her."

RR Elite Limited

RR Elite offer a collection of stunning and pristine cars for your big day and we are thrilled to be welcoming them to The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair to showcase their vehicles.

"RR Elite Limited has been formed around one of the South's most beautiful collections of motor vehicles.   Early in 2011, one of the World's most successful entrepreneurs graciously offered his private collection of vehicles to be offered up for special events and charitable organisations.  These vehicles are too magnificent to be kept out of sight."

"This collection of vehicles is a treasured and much loved obsession of the owner, and will always be offered for hire in pristine condition."

Does your groom have his eye on a special car to get him to the church on time? How about an Aston Martin DB9? Or maybe a Rolls Royce Phantom? Or maybe he fancies arriving in something a little less traditional, such as RR Elite's Yellow Taxi or a NYPD police car?!

"Administered from our offices in Shaftesbury, RR Elite Limited cover weddings and events throughout Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire."

These photos only represent a small selection of the cars available to hire from RR Elite - come along on Sunday 16th October and talk to Paul Shinar about RR Elite's extensive collection of vehicles. He's sure to have the perfect wedding car for you!

Beau Bijou

The second exhibitor that we met at Vintage at Goodwood in the summer of 2010 was Beau Bijou. Their stand was so lovely with THE most stunning range of jewellery, that they were one of our first ports of call when approaching exhibitors for The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair.

Owned by Annabelle Chisholm, Beau Bijou creates both contemporary and vintage costume jewellery pieces.  A recent article by Jasmin Barrass, uncovers 'Dorset's hidden gem.'

Annabelle, along with her mother Joy Marsh, is a long time collector of vintage costume jewellery. From the age of sixteen she and her mother used to travel and collect different pieces of vintage jewellery as well as other antiques until the obsession proved to cause difficulties.
“We were falling over it. We didn’t know what to do with it all! We absolutely love vintage costume jewellery. I’m all about big, statement, individual, vintage pieces”

Beau Bijou is situated in the heart of Westbourne in Bournemouth and has a loyal list of clientele. Many customers regularly travel from London to shop at Beau Bijou. However some customers request services from further afield – as far as Switzerland and New York.

Don't just take our word for it - come and see Beau Bijou's stunning, bespoke jewellery for yourself on October 16th at The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair. Annabelle is offering a 15% discount on purchases made on the day!

Grace the Day

Diana Saxby is a trained Independent Marriage and Family Civil Celebrant, registered with the AOIC, the Association of Independent Celebrants.   She is an open-minded and forward thinking celebrant, recognised for her sincerity, warmth, natural sense of order, precision, attention to detail and calm nature.

As one of the South’s leading Celebrants, Diana is in great demand for her bespoke romantic and elegant ceremonies, tailored for each individual couple. She can write beautiful vows for you or will encourage you to write your own and will design and write a personal script of the ceremony which is yours to own and keep afterwards. She will include religious or spiritual readings and music of your choice or non-religious ones. Her ultimate aim is to make your wedding day dreams come true and include everything YOU want. She will not dictate what you can have or limit your choices.

Diana has conducted wedding ceremonies in beautiful and unusual settings, such as outdoors in the secret garden of a moated medieval manor house, a Jane Austen style wedding on the secluded shores of Poole Harbour, and more recently she conducted the first ever beach wedding on the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula. She also conducts weddings outside the usual hours so it really is possible to be married at sunrise or sunset or even under a moonlit, starry sky!

Diana is a Preferred Supplier to some of the most exclusive venues in the UK, some of which are privately owned but are available for private hire for elite and exclusive weddings if conducted by her. She works closely with your photographer to make sure they get the best possible shots of you and will not limit the number of photos taken.
