The Original Fete Company

Looking for an original way to entertain your guests at your wedding?
How about hiring The Original Fete Company?

"We are a family run company that specialise in traditional English fetes for all occasions."

A quote from one of our recent brides -
"I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you for making our day so memorable. Everyone commented on what a great addition the fete was.... It was so great to see all our guests introducing themselves over a game of bat-the-rat, or mingling around the coconut shy."

"Do get in touch to discuss your requirements or visit our stand at The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair and we will do our best to make your day as special and memorable as possible. "

Hourglass Gramophones

Hourglass Gramophones

Although a DJ for 30 years, Mark Somers-Baine has been restoring portable gramophones and DJing with the shellac for the past 5 years. Dressed as the "Irreverand Shellac", Mark will attend your wedding and set the perfect vintage ambiance with his Shellac sounds.

"Music is my passion and the restoration of portable gramophone players to their original factory shop floor condition is a natural extension of this. I play a range of periods rather than styles, from swing to rock and roll, as well as songs and dance music from the 30's 40's and 50's. I am also building a collection of tunes from the 20's."

"As well as our own collection ,we have several boxes of tunes and portable gramophones for sale, spanning these 3 decades."

Hourglass Gramophones have recently exhibited in The Vintage Village at the Festival Hall in London during the summer of 2011 and also at the Revival at Goodwood.

Come to The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair and hear Mark's tunes for yourself or visit him at "Hourglass Vintage Lifestyle" in the antiques market at 32 Catherine Street, Salisbury.

The Little Cheese Company

Our second exhibitor listing today is for The Little Cheese Company who will be showcasing their wedding cheese cakes at The Dorset Vintage Wedding Fair.

A cheese wedding cake offers a delicious alternative to the traditional fruitcake. A lot of people don't necessarily like fruitcake and a cheese wedding cake is the perfect solution for those brides and grooms looking for something a little bit different.

The Little Cheese Company

"The Little Cheese Company is based in a small village on the edge of the Cranborne Chase in Dorset. We specialise in creating unique cheese displays and bespoke tiered celebration cakes made entirely of cheese. All our cheeses are selected for quality and taste and sourced from both here in the UK and from the very best exclusive cheese makers from around the world.

As part of our service we can personally attend your party venue to create your bespoke wedding or celebration cake on site; we can also offer advice on serving the cheeses and, when required, give advice on wine choices.

Our celebration cakes are decorated with a selection of flowers, ribbons, nuts and fresh fruits including figs, apricots and strawberries. We provide celebration cakes to suit every taste, theme or colour scheme.

You simply provide us with your budget and event details and we'll do the rest!"
