"Alison Shaw has a BA Hons degree in Fashion and Textile Design and NCFE accreditation in Millinery. Alison has studied at London College of Fashion and Central St Martin’s completing courses in both couture Fashion Millinery and Theatrical Millinery. She has a passion for hats that encompasses the history, design, construction and wearing of hats and makes hats and headdresses on a freelance basis. She currently works at the Arts University College at Bournemouth where she also runs an evening course in Millinery."
